Mango Pie

An irresistible tasty pie perfect to be served as dessert to the whole family..

Mão na massa


  • 100g butter;
  • 1/2 tea-cup sugar;
  • 2 egg yolk;
  • 1 and a half tea-cup wheat flour;
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder.

The pie filling

  • 400g mango pulp;
  • 1 condensed milk;
  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice;
  • 1 teaspoon unflavored gelatin.


  1. Mix together the butter, sugar and the yolks in a mixer until they become a cream;
  2. Gently powder the cream with the wheat flour mixing it with your hands;
  3. Make a ball and place in the refrigerator for 15 minutes;
  4. Roll it and put it in a baking tray. Make little holes with a fork and put it in the oven (180º C) for approximately 30 minutes, or until it has browned.

The pie filling

  1. Mix the pulp, the condensed milk and the lemon juice in the blender until they becomes a homogeneous cream;
  2. Put it in a bowl and let it rest;
  3. Dissolve the gelatin in 2 tablespoons of water and heat it in the microwave until warm;
  4. Mix it with the mango cream and then put it on the baked and already cold pie dough;
  5. Place in the freezer until the cream hardens.
